Who is Com-Span?

At Com-Span Inc.—“Spanning the Community”—we work alongside adults living with disabilities to live meaningful, connected lives. Our services are shaped by each person’s strengths, interests, and goals, with a focus on choice, dignity, and belonging.

Our day services combine community involvement with on-site experiences at our welcoming center. We offer joyful activities and a variety of learning opportunities, while also participating in community events and volunteer projects—all designed to support personal growth, connection, and engagement.

Located on a quiet residential street in South St. Vital, our fully wheelchair-accessible space overlooks a large green area, providing a calm, inclusive environment where everyone can connect, learn, and thrive—fully embracing the spirit of spanning the community feels safe, respected, and supported.

Valid First Aid and CPR training
Valid drivers license
Be availability: Mon- Fri 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
A clear Adult Abuse Registry Check and Criminal Record Check

Volunteering

Com-Span welcomes all individuals to share their time and talents. Volunteering provides a mutual and valued connect for everyone involved.

Medical Services

Com-Span employs a Licensed Practical Nurse. The nurse’s responsibly is to maintain close working relationships with the individuals and their support network to ensure medical needs are met.
